Where we are
A few minutes from the centre of Auchi
Calypso Residence sits behind a gate that stays manned around the clock, a short drive from the middle of town and about ten minutes from the Polytechnic. Close enough to be convenient; far enough back from the road to be quiet.
We built it for the kind of guest who has been let down before. Anyone who travels in this country knows the pattern: the generator that only runs until midnight, the Wi-Fi that will not hold a video call, the car park nobody is actually watching. We decided those three things were not going to be a problem here, and everything else was designed around keeping that promise.
There is a restaurant and bar that people from town eat in, not just guests. Room service comes from the same kitchen. Laundry goes out and comes back the same day when we can manage it. Reception is genuinely staffed at three in the morning — not a bell on an empty desk.
We have 1 room across 5 types, from a comfortable Standard to a three-bedroom Presidential apartment with its own terrace.

Somebody is always awake
The gate is manned twenty-four hours and reception is staffed all night. A late arrival is normal here, not an inconvenience.
Rooms are properly turned over
Every room is cleaned and then checked by someone else before the next guest goes in. Nothing is sold as ready until it has been looked at twice.
Come and stay
Book direct and you deal with us, not a booking site. If something is not right, the person who can fix it is the person who answers the phone.
